Hanoi – In a groundbreaking development, Vietnam’s tech powerhouse FPT has unveiled plans to construct a $200 million artificial intelligence (AI) factory, leveraging NVIDIA’s graphics chips and software. This strategic partnership, announced on April 23, signifies a comprehensive collaboration aimed at revolutionizing AI and cloud services in Vietnam and beyond.
The partnership between FPT and NVIDIA aims to create a seamless AI & Cloud ecosystem, providing clients with AI products, GPU infrastructure, technical expertise, and domain knowledge. This holistic approach will be facilitated through the establishment of AI factories dedicated to research and development, expanding AI and cloud capabilities globally, and nurturing a technologically adept workforce.
The AI factory, serving as a sovereign cloud, will be equipped with NVIDIA’s cutting-edge technologies, including the NVIDIA AI Enterprise software and frameworks, along with NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPUs. This initiative underscores FPT’s commitment to advancing AI research and development, with a particular focus on generative AI, autonomous driving, and sustainable transformation for a green future.
By harnessing NVIDIA’s expertise, FPT aims to position Vietnam as a leading AI nation and drive the widespread adoption of AI applications across Asia, with a specific focus on Vietnam, Japan, and the Republic of Korea. As part of this collaboration, FPT joins the NVIDIA Partner Network as a Service Delivery Partner and aspires to become a Global Systems Integrator.
